First, have a fun with your dog. It is New York style!

Do not think about modify of the behavior or discipline of
your dog. First, think about just have a fun with you dog.
Make it simple and give the dog a lot of interesting of you. There is no value if your communication with your dog has
no fun.

For my experience in New York for 10 years of my dog training career,I met a lot of wonderful dogs and dog owners. In that experiences, I was impressed that many New York's dog owners were understood "the meaning of living with dog" and had a strong will to make them happier.They always think
about how do you spend a happy time with their dogs.

It is a fun communication therefore the dog is interested in the training. And the dog want to enjoy it more.

Dog owners who cannot make succesful training has a same problem. There is no fun on the dog training. Living with a dog and shere the important time togather, it is a very meaningful moment both human and dog.

All dog owners must had enjoyed the training at the begining with the dog. Later, some dog owners cannot have a good communication and feel stress of dog's behavior. And the dog owner says to the dog that "How many times should I teach you this?" "Why you cannot stop this bad behavior!" Unsuitable behavior of the dog is not problem of dog. It is the dog owner's problem. If the dog owner can teach the behavior the way of the dog can understand, dog will learn it. However, if the dog owner impersonate the dog and saying the above, it is never established communication between human and dog.
